Karen's Spicy Chicken Burger

These are a delicious alternative to your usual minced beef burger … I would love you to try these for a change, you won’t be disappointed!

Method

Place the onion into a microwavable bowl along with the butter & cook for two minutes on high power. Add the minced chicken to the onions now add the egg & the marinade & mix together. Arrange into four large or six smaller patties.

Heat a little oil in the frying pan on medium & cook each side for 5 to 7 minutes (check the middle to ensure fully cooked). Serve on a bun of your choice … we love toasted brioche buns!

NOTES

These burgers are amazing with Karen’s Spicy Dip, try with melted cheese too! To do this quickly place 4 tablespoons of a good quality mature grated cheddar into a small microwavable dish & heat for 30 seconds, check & if the cheese hasn’t melted enough, microwave at 10 second intervals or place a mature cheddar square cheese slice on top of the burger & place under the grill
